What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psychological acupressure technique that works on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture. Unlike acupuncture though, EFT does not use needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about the problem and voice positive affirmations:
"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."
This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmations works to clear the "short-circuit" (the emotional block), restoring your mind and body's balance.
How Can it Help?
It is undeniable that negative emotions contribute to physical ailments. To the extent that EFT neutralizes those negative emotions; the physical symptoms appear to subside.
Emotional Freedom Technique can help with phobias, such as claustrophobia, or fears, such as fears of public speaking, flying or dentists.
